Hand-welded and -tuned 4-bell agogo, medium - Kalango
A real gem - we think!
Hand-welded, rustic look, and the typical Brazilian clear but somewhat 'dirty' sound. The bells are made of sturdy steel sheet and tuned to beautiful intervals. The handle is long enough so that the agogo lies well and stable in the hand but does not make the instrument too heavy. Various creative lines and patterns are easy to play and sound especially nice when several people play together. Slight dissonances in the sound are encouraged and make for an authentic sound.
Our hand-welded Agogos are painted metallic blue on the inside.

Notre association a acheté 5
Notre association a acheté 5 agogos entre juillet 2023 et octobre 2023. Résultat: 3 agogos se sont dessoudés. Nous répétons 1 à 2 fois par semaine, ce qui n'est pas vraiment intensif. En terme de son, c'est plutôt très bon mais la qualité attendu pour le prix n'est pas là, à l'arrivée, dommage.

instrument non fiable dans le temps
Très décu par ces agogos, au moment de l'achat le son était bon, nous en avons acheté plusieurs tailles et étions satisfaits pendant quelques mois mais au bout de deux ans (d'utilisation normale, non intensive et sans les faire tomber) ils se sont tous fendus ou désaccordés, nous ne pouvons plus les utiliser et avons du tous les remplacer, malheureusement sans geste commercial donc nous ne les avons pas repris chez Kalango
