Mestre Hugo Leonardo from Nação do Maracatu Leão Da Campina and Coco de Besoura Maganga is one of the new generation of mestres in Maracatu. He leads the only Nação Angola Maracatu and drives his group with huge energy and a unique swing in his baque. Nação do Maracatu Leão Da Campina Campina are one of the rising stars of Maracatu Baque Virado in Pernambuco standing proud within this rich tradition. Mestre Hugo is recognised by other mestres within the Afro-Brazilian matrix and is huge demand for workshops both within Brazil and internationally. During this tour Mestre Hugo will be teaching both Coco Juremado and his Baque from Leão Da Campina.
