CAPOEIRATHON - THE BIG CHALLENGE OF THE 100 JOGOS IN 2 DAYS
Mestre Cigano from GCB Alemanha in Frankfurt organises a new event - the Capoeirathon. Pure enthusiasm for Capoeira is all that counts! 100 jogos in 2 days are to be mastered, a real challenge for body and mind.
Dear Capoeiristas,
maybe you feel a bit like Mestre Cigano - like it's time for a new type of Capoeira event? The basic idea is actually simple - a Capoeirathon! 100 jogos of 1 minute each are played in the Sao Bento Grande de Angola style and have to be mastered within 2 days. Nothing easier than that? Maybe you can make it? Totally impossible? We will see :)
Capoeira is all that matters
But we can promise you: it will be a big challenge for your body and mind. The event will take place without a Capoeira uniform. Corda, group, style, status, gender or nationality are not interesting here, only the enthusiasm for Capoeira, our friendship and the 100 jogos.
The focus is on the jogos
Each participant receives a card, which is marked or punched after each game. In order to be able to assess the general score and to have an overview, each capoeirista gets a coloured bracelet after 25 games (0-25 games white / 25-50 games green / 50-75 games blue / 75-100 games red).
Children, teenagers and adults are welcome to participate.
The first three capoeiristas who have completed the 100 jogos will be awarded. Whoever masters all the games gets an event shirt!
