The Pizzott hides are treated with a special tanning process, the result is a more rustic look and fantastic sound! The skins seem alive, you can really see the craftsmanship emerging from the instrument. The jingles are crafted from brass, each of them hand-hammered. Every jingle set has a thin zinc-sheet interleaf. An extraordinary combination of materials creates a well-balanced and downright perfect sound ratio between the head and the jingles. Moreover, at just under 500g, this 10,5'' pandeiro is a lightweight in its size category. A tempting choice for frequent use with a strong tendency to become a favourite instrument in your pandeiro pool. Pandeiros with flatrims as tension rims allow for an extremely lightweight construction, as the skin is not pressed into a metal ring as usual, but wrapped around a wire, which saves weight. In addition, flatrim pandeiros are comfortable to hold as there is no excess tension ring. The flat rim feels natural in the hand and also looks really nice!

Pizzott
Marcelo PIZZOTT is an experienced percussionist and pandeirista from Rio de Janeiro. He plays in various bands, is a highly popular session player and records in studios for Samba cracks like Emilio Santiago or Diogo Nogueira. When he couldn´t find a pandeiro that corresponded with his expectations, without further ado he started to make his own. The impressive result is optically and technically a sortiment of beautiful instruments.
