Samba Reggea Snare with knee support and single strapFat sounds for street Samba and large blocos. The marching snare drum is perfectly designed for outdoor use and has drum set dimensions. Thick-walled, glossy polished shell and drumheads provide professional sound at a very fair price. Voluminous sound and lifting mechanisms unfortunately always come with more weight, those willing to carry the few grams on top shall be rewarded with sound quality. The snare has a lifting mechanism, which many bands like, because you can 'switch off' the snare for performance purposes and no snare wire buzzing disturbs the soundscape. Of course, you can also put the snare in a stand, but if you plan to walk parades or move around with your group while playing, simple mount the included knee support for more stability.A simple strap is included in the set. with knee supportincludes a simple carrying strapsnare wires with lifting mechanismwith square tuning keyWIthout accesories, the snare weighs 3,9kg.Please note that the snare does not fit in a normal snare bag with the mounted leg support . Light-weight Samba Reggae caixa 14'' x 15 cm - aluminiumTypical Bahia! 14'' is the classical snare size for Samba Reggae and Afro Samba caixas. This one is extremely light! It has a shell made of brushed aluminium and 12-spiral snare wires. The hardware is painted black, the lugs are chromed. The seam of the body is welded. Welded shells produce a higher and more audible part of shell sound than e.g. grooved shells as their shell vibrates better. Gope has applied its light-weight construction which is very successful amongst its surdos. Especially the brackets are weight-saving slim but yet sturdy. Check out the difference - the caixa only weighs 1,9 kg!

It is commonly played with a 2-hooked hip strap and has a strong voluminous sound. Very solid and good quality instrument, the body of the caixa is designed in brushed aluminium giving it a neat matt appearance. Both rims are chromed, the snare wires are traditionally tied and dont' have a lifting-mechanism. Saves tuning it every time and also less weight!
