Silent head for tamborim - mesh head for your tamborim practice at home or in silent mode

Light-weight practice net for tamborim, ideal for practising at home and a must for tamborim players who like rehearsing their carreteiro outside group rehearsal without driving all neighbours crazy. The silent head is a practice mesh especially for tamborins, is has the same size as a normal tamborim head and also works the same. Before use, mount the silent head on your normal tamborim frame. If you don't feel like mounting and dismounting heads all the time, just get a second simple practise frame and leave the net on. The net is durable and has a very similar, slightly softer feel to a normal tamborim. Do not use the net with sticks. You can practice with normal synthetic tamborim beaters on it, convincing feel and really silent!

Note about spare parts:

We recommend that you always purchase spare parts of the same brand as your instrument to ensure fit and function. We cannot assume any warranty for different-brand combinations. If you are looking for a spare part that you cannot find on our site, please contact us!

Gope

GOPE is a family-run business from the area around São Paulo. Today the company is being run in its third generation by the grand daughter of the firm´s founder.

The brand GOPE has been producing drums and smallpercussion instruments for over 50 years now. When the company was founded, there was already a small workshop in which drumsets were manufactured.

In 1962, the production of the typical Samba instruments began, iniciated by Humberto Rodella, the son of the founder. The company kept growing and after several relocations in São Paulo, GOPE finally found the right place for building a large production hall in Embu Guaçu, a suburb of São Paulo.

Since then GOPE produces in Embu Guaçu everything from the Agogô to the Zabumba, a wide range of percussion instruments, and only recently also various wind instruments.

GOPE has always kept in close touch with the musicians. The ideas and proposals for modifications that they received from many of those contacts, have always had much influence in the development of new instruments and improvement of production.
