Surdo stand different heights for rehearsals, stage gigs, school lessons or players who want to play several surdos at the same time
Portable, super light and foldable surdo stand made of anodised ultralight aluminium tubes. Can be dismounted without tools and within seconds. Anti-slip foam covers for stabilising the surdo position and floor-friendly plastic caps.
Before you choose a stand size, please ask yourself the following questions:
- What is the height of your surdo?
- Which playing height is comfortable for you?
- Or for use in schools or groups: how tall are the players?
The height of the instrument + height of the stand = playing height

Low surdo stand - standard height for high surdos (60cm) or small sambistas and kids
- The height can be adjusted by 6 cm by moving the middle section
- The stand is suitable if your surdo is 60cm high and 16'', 18'', 20'' or 22'' in diameter.
- For 24'' surdos: The stand will also fit for 24'' surdos, please have in mind that the tripod legs under the middle piece will be rather short, which affects the stability.
- With a short 43cm surdo, the stand is also suitable for smaller sambistas or children.
Medium high surdo stand
- Height adjustable by shifting the centre section
- The stand is suitable for you if the measurements on our infographics give you a comfortable playing height!
- For 16'',18'' 20'' and 22'' surdos
- For 24'' surdos: The stand will also fit for 24'' surdos, please have in mind that the tripod legs under the middle piece will be rather short, which affects the stability.
High surdo stand for short surdos (Samba Reggae surdos) or tall players
- Height adjustable by shifting the centre section

A really clever idea for how to set a Surdo for indoor playing (vs. marching); very flexible, super-light, yet built to last
Although it can be a bit tricky to figure out ahead of time with full confidence, which size to order, the on-line documentation is very helpful towards making a decision that is flexible enough for different heights to be usable even if your preconceptions were a bit off-base. I simply advise choosing one whose presumed ideal height is a bit closer to the middle of its rated adjustment range, just in case your initial estimates were off. These are much bigger than they appear in the pictures, but are extremely light.

Kaufempfehlung
Die Konstruktion ist einfach und wirkungsvoll. Der Ständer lässt sich leicht verstellen und für den Transport falten. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist noch angemessen. Es gibt auf dem Markt wenig vergleichbare Alternativen. Negativ (deshalb auch einen Stern Abzug): Da es sich um eine sehr leichte Konstruktion handelt, kann der Ständer bei starken Vibrationen (z. B. wenn mehrere Surden auf Holzboden angeschlagen werden) "wandern". Des Weiteren wäre eine Tasche für den Transport sinnvoll (evtl. auch für das Verstauen von Schlägeln) und sollte in Zukunft mit angeboten werden.
