Rocars are a must in any Rio Samba bateria and provide a thick groove base. Their white sound is the counterpart to the deep surdos and mid-range repiniques. Wood bar chocalhos are typical in Rio's Samba schools and are very popular, comfortable to hold and good for performance elements in your chocalho section. The handles are anatomically shaped and are comfortable to hold even after several hours of use.
Zinc sheet jingles sound short, dry and loud, and a little "dirty" - authentic Rio. Some abrasion may occur when playing with sheet zinc jingles. The wooden stick is protected from excessive wear by an aluminium strip.
