Eduardo Rodrigues, connu parmi les capoeiristes sous le nom de Mestre Negão, s’est etabli comme un des personnages les plus actives au monde de la capoeira par l’organisation l’événement « Vadeia Samba » et sa ligne des instruments artisanaux. Il vise à réunir des capoeiristes des divers styles et groupes. Son atelier – qu’une salle d’une petite maison- se trouve à São Paulo. Les instruments qu’il construit avec une grande précision artisanale et avec des méthodes traditionnelles sont d’une qualité supérieure.

Beautiful, but of no use
The instrument is beautful, but it comes with big cracks. Worst of all: the sound of the 2 "bells" is almost the same, which doesn't make any sense at all.

At first I thought it was
At first I thought it was a bit too expensive, but this agogo has a really nice finish and a good grip. The sound is lovely, perfect for capoeira. Worth the investment.

Chose this Agogo for its beautiful
Chose this Agogo for its beautiful finish and very nice traditional // tribal sound.. The handle was a usp.. nicely rounded.. for long sessions it seemed more comfortable
