10'' Cuica, inox shell and brass hardware - RG

10'' cuicas are all-rounder sizes that can wonderfully be used in all sorts of styles like Pagode or a full-sized bateria. The larger diameter gives you a good sound variety and lots of volume. The head is mounted ready to play, it is usually helpful to check if the the dry bamboo stick needs sanding down a bit with some sandpaper. This will make the skin more responsive, but the stick will also be more fragile.

The shell is made of inox, the hardware is brass. RG builds rustic, authentic samba instruments in Rio. Cuicas are not easy to play but are a lot of fun, enrich your bateria and add a unique musical element to your Samba de Mesa session.
