Beautiful superlight pandeiro - perfect harmony between all sound components!

Pizzott’s pandeiro skins go through a special tanning procedure. As a result the skins look more rustical and produce absolutely fantastic sound! The heads appear lively, you can literally see the handcraft glowing in the instrument. The jingles are hand-hammered brass with an interleaf of zinc sheet between each pair. This extraordinary combination of materials creates a homogeneous and utterly perfect relation within the sound components skin and jingles. Also the pandeiro is one of our lightest weighing only 390 g. All those tempting characteristics make it an absolute favourite, you might not want to put it down again. Using flatrim tension hoops on pandeiros makes it possible to build very light instruments. The skin is not pressed into a metall ring like usually but wrapped around a piece of wire which saves weight! Also a pandeiro built with the flatrim technique is comfortable to hold because there is no hoop standing over the top. The flat metall fits nicely in your hand and simply looks gorgeous!
