This model from Pizzott has a special concept and is extra large for big hands or just even more sound spectrum on stage! The brass jingles are hand-hammered and have small inset centre plates. The higher weight compared to the hide head pandeiros from Pizzott is due to an additional pair of jingles. Marcos Pizzott himself is a sought-after musician in Rio's Samba scene and has developed yet another great pandeiro that can be used in all sorts of styles and is incredibly fun to play! An absolute favourite!
Brass nuts, brackets, tension hooks and the tension ring are made of steel.
Marcelo PIZZOTT is an experienced percussionist and pandeirista from Rio de Janeiro. He plays in various bands, is a highly popular session player and records in studios for Samba cracks like Emilio Santiago or Diogo Nogueira. When he couldn´t find a pandeiro that corresponded with his expectations, without further ado he started to make his own. The impressive result is optically and technically a sortiment of beautiful instruments.
